The Best Kids’ Consignment Spots in & around DC

Junior League’s Children’s Trunk Show 

Have fun an shop for gently used pre-owned items one day only on Saturday, March 2 from 9am to 12pm at 2100-B Crystal Dr, Arlington, VA 22202. The $25 admission per person includes a mimosa, coffee, light breakfast, and two raffle entries for tickets to Six Flags, the National Children’s Museum, and a Monday’s Child gift certificate! Lemon Lane

This store in the Little City—the super charming downtown area of Falls Church—carries upscale brands like Lilly Pulitzer and Mini Boden. They also offer walk-in Wednesdays for consignors. You can bring up to 20 items in on Wednesdays without an appointment! While you’re there, be sure to check out some of the other amazing shops nearby: The Toy Nest, Preservation Biscuit Company, Bakeshop, and Rare Bird Coffee Roasters, just to name a few!

Blossom and Buds

A mainstay for Arlington moms, Blossom and Buds opened two years ago in the Westover neighborhood. In addition to kids clothing, the shop also accepts women’s clothing and toys!

529 Kids Consign

This kids’ consignment store is a fixture in Northern Virginia with three boutiques: Old Town, Loudoun, and Hollin Hall. All three stores specialize in upscale brands and the Loudoun and Hollin Hall locations also carry women’s clothing!

Kid to Kid Rockville

This national chain is extremely popular with local moms and has a super easy consignment model. Appointments aren’t necessary and the store pays for your items on the spot rather than waiting for them to sell!

Bellies and Babies 

Located in Del Rey, this shop has it all including high-end maternity rentals! If you’re pregnant and in need of a dress for a special occasion, be sure to check them out.

Wee-Sale Pop-Up Consignment

Wee-Sale has had pop-up consignment sales in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s County for over 15 year. Follow them on Instagram for all the latest updates. The PG sale is scheduled for April 10-13, 2024 and the Anne Arundel is set for May 1-5, 2024. Register to sell or New Moms, snag a VIP shopping pass for just $15 (for pregnant moms or moms with babies under age one).

Not near any of these awesome kids’ consignment stores and pop-up shops? That’s definitely not a problem as several sell and ship on Instagram! There are lots of other online options too. As mentioned above, The Growing Years has an online shop.

Kidizen is a very popular app and website where you can sell and buy kids’ clothes directly, and there are tons of buy, sell, and trade groups on Facebook devoted to kids’ clothes. Just search for the brands you love and the phrase “Buy, sell and trade”!
