District Jump is the Washington, D.C. area’s premier indoor playground with bouncers, slides, and jumper fun for children 12 years old and under! District Jump offers playtime packages, including birthday parties, that are stress-free for parents: the staff handles everything so parents can relax while the children have their fun.
My family loves District Jump and have attended many events there! Our son often asks to go to that cool “jump house” and tells his friends about it.
Safety is everything at District Jump.
Safety is an enormous part of District Jump. As we all are navigating living through a global pandemic, District Jump ensures the safety of its guests by using a CDC certified spray that is countertop safe between each playgroup. During the 30-minute cleaning between play times, two 10×14 screened-in doors are open to allow airflow. In fact, these screened-in doors always remain open during all playtimes! Additionally, there is a temperature check at the door and hand sanitizer is available throughout the facility.
My family has visited District Jump multiple times during this unprecedented time. We have felt safe with the increased airflow, high ceilings, reduced guest capacity, and cleaning protocols. It is the only indoor play arena we will visit!
Birthday parties and private events are District Jump’s specialty.
At District Jump, their goal is to throw your child the most fun birthday in town. Party packages include jump time, party room access, food, drinks, plates, napkins, and candles—they will even help you pack up your car when the party is over!
Each group has approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of time in the jump arena, which features large inflatable play structures like obstacle courses, slides, and more. During this playtime, trained staff closely supervise the room for safety. As a frequent guest, I can attest to the attentive staff! They interact with the children while keeping them safe.
Once playtime is over, the children are organized into a group and instructed to wash their hands before moving to the private party room. The attendants then serve the party guests, direct singing, hand out cupcakes and goodie bags, and then clean up.
It must be said that while children have a ton of fun here, adult events can be accommodated, too!
Play Bubbles is the new and improved play pod.
It’s cold outside, and so many of us are stuck inside doing distance learning with our children while trying to do our own work. Starting this month, District Jump is starting Play Bubbles, its private playgroup play sessions. They will offer set times for members to visit. Groups will have full access to the jump arena, participate in various arts and crafts activities and storytimes, along with other games conducted by staff.
Each Play Bubble visits at the same time with the same children every week! Parents can sit back, relax, and read a book (or work) while staff entertains your kids!
Check out Member Access rules, which include a negative Covid-19 test, proof of flu shot vaccination, mask-wearing and temperature checks.
District Jump offers Open Play too!
Even though District Jump specializes in birthday parties, they also offer tons of fun and excitement for any other time as well. The play arena is packed with tons of fun and excitement. There is even a cafe packed with snacks, beverages, and free wifi!
Schedule your jump and play time by registering online from 11 am – 1 pm, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm, or 4 pm – 6 pm. Walk ins are not welcome.
District Jump is the perfect place for a Summer Camp treat to beat the heat.
