On November 13, National Kindness Day, moms gathered to get pampered with fellow moms at our Spa & Shop: A Moms Morning to Treat and be Treated! We socialized and shopped in the beautiful Georgetown Kendra Scott store. Kids and babies came and we even had activities for kiddos to benefit kids at the Children’s National Medical Center. All attendees got 10% off their Kendra Scott purchase, plus Kendra Scott donated 10% of all purchases as well. Additionally, a percentage of DC Moms Blog ticket sales went go to benefit Children’s National too! I’m excited to share, we raised over $400 for Children’s at our event all while having fun!

We had the absolute best time. There were smiles, laughs, new friends, lots of babies, and delicious snacks and drinks provided by Kendra Scott. In addition to that, as a mom, I know how hard it is to get away and get nails painted, a massage, or get a facial done. Instead we brought it all to the moms and it was clear they enjoyed themselves.
We even had a special guest, Monique Samuels, from Not For Lazy Moms and The Real Housewives of Potomac there.
Plus, we had on-the-spot signed, hand delivered copies of Parker Curry’s Book, Parker Looks Up. She is as cute in person as she is in all of her photos!
Thank you to Kendra Scott for hosting us for our Spa and Shop: A time to be treated and to treat others. We felt very treated at the event and were also glad to give back at the same time! BIG thanks to ALL the businesses for being a part of this event. Also a big thanks to all the moms for taking time out of their busy schedule to come to the event. We all had a blast!
We area already looking forward to 2020 and hope to see you (YOU, the reader!) soon.
