Our programs tap into a critical time in children’s lives when their brains are rapidly developing. New movements, such as walking across a balance beam or rolling like a ball, nourish the brain’s learning center and teach kids how to listen, focus, and follow directions.
The Lane is a family social club in Ivy City in Washington, DC. Our mission is to be a positive gathering space to create community and fun for families in the DC area. We offer an indoor/outdoor play space where children 6 and under can play safely while parents relax, eat, and drink. While the pandemic has shifted our offerings, we are still committed to being a hub of activity for young families. We are currently housing daily learning pods while school is virtual and using our space for select classes and private events. We look forward to bringing open play, food and drinks, and birthday parties back into our daily operation as it becomes safe to do so.
