I believe you don’t need wild props or over-the-top outfits to fill galleries with breathtaking photos. I believe genuine joy is the most beautiful accessory and that the real moments are the ones you’ll want to relive over and over again. Because of this, I’ve devoted myself to creating a photography experience that gives you and your family the space to thrive. Then, we will transform those moments of connection into timeless art.

Comet Health provides virtual pelvic floor physical therapy from the comfort and privacy of your home!

Conditions we treat:

  • Prenatal pelvic floor strengthening for prevention
  • Postnatal pelvic floor rehabilitation for conditions including diastasis recti, tearing, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence
  • Sexual dysfunction including vaginismus, dyspareunia (pain with sex), menopausal related changes
  • Chronic pelvic pain conditions like IBS / IC
  • General pelvic floor concerns

What is pelvic floor physical therapy?

Pelvic floor physical therapy is just like any other physical therapy but focused on strengthening and improving coordination in muscles in your pelvic floor. Our clinicians are licensed physical therapists who received additional training, specialization, and certification in treating pelvic floor conditions. Get treated virtually via telehealth from the comfort and privacy of your own home with Comet! Our clinicians will work with you to develop an individualized home exercise program!

How much does it cost?

Initial evaluations (45 minutes) are $100 and subsequent follow-up visits (30 minutes) are $75. We do not take insurance but we are happy to put together a superbill for you upon request ([email protected]).

Does it work?

Yes, clinical evidence for pelvic floor physical therapy (PFPT) is very well documented. In fact, a study from Stanford Urogynecology recommended PFPT as a “first-line, low-risk, minimally invasive therapy” for preventing and treating pelvic floor conditions and concluded that “PFPT should be commonly recommended during pregnancy and after birth to prevent and treat urinary incontinence, POP and postpartum sexual dysfunction.”

Do I need a referral?

No, most states, including Virginia, are direct access states and you are able to see a physical therapist without a referral from your doctor for up to 30 days. If you would like us to reach out to your provider on your behalf for a referral at that point, please send us an email at [email protected]!

Do I need to drive anywhere?

No, our services are remote video-based consultations you take from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Change your life with an au pair

Hosting an au pair is a unique and extraordinary childcare solution that offers countless benefits for host families (and au pairs!). Check out a few of the reasons why our host families choose the au pair program.
Flexible and reliable childcare
An au pair is a form of childcare you can trust like family. When your family hosts an au pair, you receive extra support from someone who lives in your home, gets to know your family routines, and forms a loving relationship with your children. This can not only make family life easier but also more enjoyable.
Work-life balance
Juggling your career and your family can be exhausting—especially when you have little ones running around! An au pair can make things easier by helping with meal prep, before- and after-school transportation and even child-related chores around the house. Whether you need childcare on a typical 9-5 schedule, morning and evening care, or a schedule that changes week to week, au pairs can work up to 45 hours per week and up to 10 hours per day on a schedule you decide.
Cultural exchange
There’s no better way to foster a sense of cultural curiosity in your children than by hosting an au pair! Your au pair will introduce your family to the recipes, language, traditions and customs from their home country and in exchange, you’ll help your au pair experience the American way of life.

Camp Under the Stars is a nonprofit, overnight summer camp for ages 5-12 with a leadership program for ages 15-17.  We are located in the Prince William Forest National Park in Dumfries, Virginia.

Our mission is to provide a supportive, inclusive camp community that values each child’s uniqueness, celebrates our differences, and respects nature and the planet.

Our camp program is outside in nature in the National Park.  Camp activities include mindfulness & yoga, hiking, waterfall walks, cooking nutritious campfire meals, library, art, STEM, and outside play.

The one-week overnight camp program for ages 5-12 is designed for first-time campers and those who have camped before.  Campers live in cabins with cots and electric lights, with flush toilets very close by.  Some meals take place in the dining hall and others are prepared over a campfire.

The Culinary CIT program is a one-week, overnight camp-volunteer-in-training program for ages 15-17.  This unique program includes learning to be a camp volunteer as well as culinary education in the kitchen and over the campfire.  CITs will learn about child development and positive ways to interact with younger children.  In the kitchen, CITs will improve their cooking and baking skills and help to prepare and cook camp meals.  There will also be time for camp fun like art, hiking, waterfall walks, yoga, and more!

At Skills on the Hill, we treat the whole child by considering the environment, the child’s strengths and weaknesses, and what is meaningful to the child. We know that the child will do best when he or she is comfortable and motivated, so we disguise everything as play. At our pediatric occupational therapy clinic, we address motor delays, visual motor and perceptual deficits, weaknesses with daily living, self-help skills, difficulties with play and social skills, attention issues, and sensory processing and modulation disorders.
