Shannon was born in Virginia and lives with her volunteer firefighter husband, Karam, 4 kids, 3 cats, and a dog. She is a homeschooling, stay-at-home mom, is involved in the local 4-H with her kids, and is a member/event coordinator/organizer of various homeschool co-ops and book clubs. Shannon also works as an office manager for her husband's business Reach Systems, Inc. She is also an Usborne Consultant and overall lover of books! Shannon especially enjoys outdoor activities!
