Lauren was raised in Potomac, Maryland. She attended Georgetown University and then the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in NYC where she graduated Valedictorian and received her Masters in Contemporary Art History. After living in Florida while her husband was on active duty in the United States Navy, her family moved back to Maryland to be closer to relatives and the DC area that she loves. In addition to being a stay-at-home mom to their energetic young son, Lauren founded an art advisory business, Lauren Heller Art Consultant, to help others feel confident when selecting art for their home or office.
